Thanks for a good page. I had a riseman but i didnt know that there are so many same kind of watches out there like frogman, raysman, mudman etc. Very nice page you have, gshock rules!:D

Nice site with lots of information. Currently I own a MRG-210 and it is my olf faithful. Hope you can write up a bit of history regarding about the MRG series. I used to have G-Viper G-5600 but I lost it somewhere gee.. I kinda miss that watch. Keep up the good work here Sjors :)

Just to let you know i still have my first ever G Shock that is the one you wanted the DW003 G Glide. Its been with me for 8 years and been to every country around the world that i have been to and it still works perfect!!!

Always wanted to have a gshock watch and I got one today as a gift from dear mom!
This great looking gshock stood out from the rest of the models at the shop. I found it was the Mudman 9000 1v.

To Dale: Never let a girl touch your G-Shock, even if she's an official retailer: they always screw up the back case too hard and fuck it all up! Look, try this: remove the module off its case and let it dry on a clean, dust free, place. Then replace the battery, press AC to reinitialize the module and put it all back inside the case, make surethe joint is there and replace the caseback. Then screw it gently. But always do it by yourself. I do so, buddy, and never got any problem of water resistancy.

I have a bit of a problem, we were on vacation and instead of sending my G2300 to a service provider I had a clerk change out the battery. She didn't get the rubber seal back on and it got water inside. The battery that she put in was good but I think it must have shorted out inside. You said in your pages that once its wet inside it will NEVER come back, so I suppose it would be useless to send it off to a support center? I have checked the battery with a volt meter and it still reads around 2.3-2.6 volts. No luck jumping it from the back. Vielen Danke

Every time I have a look at your website, there is always something entertaining to look at/read.
I enjoyed surfing through the G-people section and of course the information on G-shocks.
I couldn't find any pictures of your whole collection though....that would be awesome!
I know from the G-shock forum that it should include about 350 g-shocks (!!!), at the rate your collection expands you are going to have to update this number on the intro page more often :-)!
Enjoy your g's, and thanks for sharing your passion and knowledge with so many people...

Congratulations on your fantastic new 25th year anniversaty Frogman Jors! Yep, it is a very nice watch and a rare one too! I'm waiting on my 25th Anni AWG-525. It seems however, that my Japanese contact has to turn his priotities towards personal matter and I have to be patient. For the time being, You're KING!

I came across your site while doing some research on the web for a replacement band for my DW 8400.
My father bought me this watch back in 1995 or 1996 from England. I used to wear it everyday but now the band is torn and I can't wear it. This will be my 2nd replacement band but I am finding it hard to find in the US.
I am originally from Turkey and have been living in the US for the past 7 years.
I really enjoyed visiting your site and the information you provide is very useful. (I didn't know DW 8400 Mudman was somewhat of a rare g-shock?)
Anyways, thought I'd drop a few lines and say hi.
By the way - I think you are from Germany? I lived in Heidelberg and Koblenz and used to speak German pretty good but as they say if you don't use it, you lose it...

I recently acquired a DW5600 with a screw back. It is a great watch.
Any advice on removing scratches from the crystal or source for new crystals. Your G-Shock pages are very informative and fun.
